My name is Jared Fischer and I am a postdoctoral fellow at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.  My research is focused on understanding the role of mutation(s) in intestinal stem cell competition and cancer intitation and progression.  To study these processes, I utilize both genetically engineered mouse models and cultured intestinal organoids.
